Job description

We are Etergo. We're on a mission to accelerate the global transition towards sustainable energy and transportation by creating a safe, scalable and environmentally friendly alternative to petrol and diesel vehicles. Founded in 2014, we have grown our company with over 70 agile thinkers, building high-end electric transportation. We are currently working on #AppScooter, our first product, to demonstrate that city mobility can be clean, and deeply integrated with technologies that connect us.

Since we are growing fast, we’re now looking for a talented Company Planner and Forecaster to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.

To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting policies.

What you will work on:

  • Developing effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns
  • Continuously improving Market and Product knowledge - be capable to generate business progress analysis and scenarios;
  • Gathering and combining existing and newly collected data; Proposing and implementing solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy;
  • Being the main contact person for the company wide planning and the integration of all different plannings;
  • Supporting collaboration efforts with cross functional teams (Technical Support, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Engineering, Sales and Marketing) to address and resolve inventory challenges;
  • Managing urgent material demand to meet customer need by date;
  • Leading the coordination with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to conduct material movement as needed;
  • Communicating forecast and inventory status and estimations to management successfully;
  • Monitoring and reporting on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets and business strategies;
  • Conducting monthly forecast maintenance;
  • Addressing demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner;
  • Reporting out in daily standup meetings and/or written presentations as required;
  • Communicating and collaborating effectively with all levels within the company;
  • Proactively get enough market and product knowledge to make proper analysis on the business progress.

Requirements

This is the right role for you if you have:

  • A minimum of 7 years experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
  • Preference for applicants with Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain or other relevant fields;
  • Ability to work successfully within a team, cross-functionally and independently;
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity by demonstrating strong analytic, strategic, innovative thinking and problem solving;
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment;
  • Proven track record of organization skills and project management skills;
  • Strong detail oriented skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Fluency in English.
