Enjoy geeking out on electronics? Capable of programming components? Want to have a meaningful impact on society and learn from talented engineers? Then this is might just be the internship you’re looking for! We are Etergo. Our singular aim is to bring clean and connected mobility to the masses. AppScooter is our first product under development, to demonstrate that city mobility can be clean, and deeply integrated with technologies that connect us.
We’re offering an opportunity to scholars who want to gain hands-on experience writing embedded software for the actual production vehicle. During your time with us, you will design and develop solutions for microcontrollers, and implement low-level drivers through embedded C programming. Just as an example, you could be setting up the remote key for AppScooter that can disarm the alarm, start the scooter, and unlock the trunk; perhaps you’ll even create the encryption for it. Or, you could add interactive functions to the buttons on the steering wheel. There are plenty of interesting challenges to go around!
