We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Finance Specialist to join us at our HQ in Amsterdam! You will be responsible for supporting the short-term and long-term financial planning processes, delivering the necessary insights to the senior management. The tasks will include also supporting the Finance Team on the development of new reports and tools improving the decision making process , and a day-to-day support to the Finance Manager. You will report directly to the Finance Manager.
As part of our Finance team, these will be your day-to-day activities:
Preparing the financial forecasts, reporting variances and translating figures into insights for the management team of the company;
Build financial models to support decision making;
Taking an active role in developing new reports, cash flow analysis, risk analysis and business valuation models;
Developing periodically and ad-hoc financial information and monitoring performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances;
Supporting the Finance Manager in strategic planning and analysis;
Being responsible for consistency of data and alignment between financial, commercial and manufacturing information.
This is the right role for you if you have:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance, or related field preferred;
6+ years of experience in a Financial Reporting, M&A, Structured Finance, Controlling or FP&A roles;
Advance knowledge of Excel/google sheets (geek level) with strong VBA skills;
Strong ability to synthesize market information and understand key business drivers;
Experience with financial modelling and structured finance;
Strong analytical skills and able to switch between detailed analyses and summarizing conclusion;
Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Good communication skills in international diverse environment, cultural sensibility;
Fluent English language skills.
What will make you stand out:
Strong technological acumen with advanced skills on Accounting/ERP systems, preferably Oracle Netsuite;
Advanced knowledge of BI tools like, Tableau, Cognos, Qlikview, and/or Powerpivot for Excel;
Audit experience in one of the Big 4 companies.
