Scheduler

Job description

We are Etergo. Our singular aim is to bring clean transportation to the masses. Founded in 2014, we have grown our company with over 70 agile thinkers, building on high-end electric, two-wheeled transportation with AppScooter; our first product to demonstrate that city mobility can be clean, and deeply integrated with technologies that connect us. As we are growing fast, we are now looking for a Scheduler to join our team in Amsterdam.

Your role will be supporting the Project team and creating a first class supply chain together with the Supply Chain team. You will be working cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, and Engineering to ensure customer expectations are met while utilizing and balancing production capacity effectively and efficiently. Working for a young company means picking up tasks and responsibilities where needed and this makes it a great place to develop yourself and learn.

We are looking for someone who can work independently on smaller projects and who isn't afraid to point out room for improvement in our processes.

What you will achieve:

  • Translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes, Product and R&D trials into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule while identifying and utilizing the production capacity effectively and efficiently;
  • Create and publish a 1-weeks firm and 4-week firm plus a 4 weeks fluid Master Production Plan and create a 3, 6 and 12 months rolling forecast for supply chain;
  • Work closely with and support the supply chain analyst on creating reports on full supply chain, including but not limited to reports on service level performance and inventory strategy;
  • Actively contact the commercial and manufacturing departments and inform them on stock levels, sales and service levels;
  • Proactively identify, analyze and communicate risks associated with the Master Production Plan, to all involved parties;
  • Collaborate with supply chain to develop inventory on hand targets for assembly parts, finished goods, spare parts and accessory inventory at optimal quantities to ensure high service levels at optimal stock levels;
  • Support the Sourcing organisation in the full procurement purchasing process by placing and following up PO’s and report on supplier performance.

Requirements

What you'll bring along for our journey together:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or a related field;
  • Must have 2-5 years supply chain schedule and planning experience within FMG or automotive;
  • You speak, read and write fluently in English;
  • Knowledge on manufacturing processes and supply chain processes;
  • Demonstrate competence in negotiating skills and process management;
  • APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management a plus;
  • Eager to learn and desire to develop and improve.

Will be considered a plus:

  • Experience with PTW vehicles;
  • Experience with Oracle / Netsuite ERP system;
  • Affinity with (electric) vehicles and/or scooters and/or sustainability;
  • Experience working in cross-functional Project teams.

Don’t forget to tell us about a component that you have worked on; something that you are especially proud of!
